App Development with Swift Foundations

“In an Australian university first, RMIT has worked with Apple to design an iOS app developer course. Learn the basics of coding in this introductory taster to Swift.”

It was a pretty straight forward course and interesting to see how different the environment can be from the usual IDEs I use for web apps to Xcode; apples one and only IDE for anything iOS – indeed any OS.

UX wireframe made in Balsamiq

The final project was to make a simple traffic lights app and explain the sequence of lights. As ever I started with a wireframe to get the UX right.

And naturally my screens in the app we’re nicely designed – and why not!

Wait for it…

My final grade was 100%. Like I said – pretty straight forward…
