Geraldine joined hansen in 2008 after working in the private sector, initially as a student planner and then graduate planner. She has a thorough understanding of the technical processes behind planning applications, pays particular attention to detail in her written work and, shows a mature and diligent approach to her projects.

Geraldine has gained a sound appreciation and understanding of planning legislation through her involvement with a variety of planning projects including large-scale residential development and subdivision applications, mixed use, commercial and industrial applications, as well as residential infill and heritage related projects. She has also developed a sound understanding of council protocols and issues by her involvement in a variety of projects for the Cities of Boroondara, Yarra and Moonee Valley in relation to planning applications and appeals.

As a capable communicator and analytical thinker, Geraldine is dedicated to her job. She has a passion for planning.

Geraldine is currently a member of the Victorian Planning and Environmental Law Association and Planning Institute of Australia (Victorian Division).
