description of project
Located on Shoreham Road in Red Hill South, the restaurant and cellar door at Montalto Vineyard and Olive Grove, was opened in 2002.

The complex, designed by Williams and Boag Architects Pty Ltd, overlooks 50 acres of vineyard previously established on the land. The contemporary building was designed as a recessive element in the rural landscape, combining a low scale form with natural materials and finishes. The orientation of the building enables outstanding views of the surrounding undulating rural landscape to be enjoyed from all parts of the complex.

This high quality, architecturally designed complex provides an appropriate setting from which the Montalto wine and olive oils brands are showcased, and a popular destination for visitors and tourists on the Mornington Peninsula.
